Tchaikovsky’s music will be played live in Great Falls next month. World Ballet Company performs Swan Lake with a live orchestra at the Historic Mansfield Theater on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m., according to the City of Great Falls.<\/p>\n
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Regular tickets run from $53 to $113 depending on the seat, with group discounts for 10 or more.<\/p>\n
The city’s listing says the show has 50 international dancers and more than 150 hand sewn costumes. The run time is about two and a half hours with a 20 minute intermission, and it is recommended for ages 5 and up.<\/p>\n
World Ballet Company is based in Los Angeles and has performed in more than 300 cities, the listing says.<\/p>\n
World Ballet Company returns to the Mansfield for The Nutcracker with a live orchestra at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29. That show runs about one hour and 40 minutes and is recommended for ages 2 and up. Every person needs a ticket.<\/p>\n
Earlier this week KHEW covered two other Mansfield shows, One Night in Memphis on Nov. 6 and the Great Falls Symphony’s Lux Aeterna on Nov. 15.<\/p>\n
