Free concerts in Montana do not get much bigger than this. The U.S. Air Force Concert Band and the Singing Sergeants, both based in Washington, D.C., are playing 11 free shows across the state from Oct. 14 to Oct. 25, KRTV reported.

The closest stop for Hi-Line families is Great Falls, at the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19. The tour honors the service of airmen past and present through music, according to KRTV.

A good night out for veterans and families

With Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls and many veterans in Hill County and on Rocky Boy, the Mansfield show is an easy pick for a family trip. The Helena date on Sunday afternoon is another option for people who would rather not drive home late.
